Members of our horse package had a great weekend with Saturday producing +19.3 units profit and continued on Sunday with +20.5 units!

Saturday:

Both Luke Murrell and Mr T stepped into She’s So High in race 3 at headquarters with a combined 8 units @ $2.5 and $2.8 BF SP. It almost looked like a barrier trial with Oliver stalking the pace and cruising past in the closing stages for an easy victory.

Doomben race 1 we backed Drumadoir for 3 units with a half unit saver on Reiby The Red, it was a close finish with both horses filling the quinella spots and Reiby The Red getting it done @ $7 and $7.11 BF SP to break even on the race.

Then we were off to Randwick for race 3, Microphone was ridden a treat by Jmac, taking a sit to be 3rd in the run before pulling wide and putting them away with ease to further cement Godolphin’s rule over the 2 year old ranks. 3 units at Betfair SP paying $2.52.

Goulburn race 3 was another profitable race with 2 units on Sakura and 2 units on Lord Heron, again Luke Murrell’s selections ran the quinella with Lord Heron prevailing. 1 unit @ $4.8 and 1 unit Betfair SP @ $4.18.

In the Australian Guineas we backed Mystic Journey for 1 unit @ $4.8. Anthony Darmanin had gate 1 to deal with and it ended up being a perfect spot, sitting behind the leader he stuck to the fence and flew through for a great win for the Tasmanian duo.

We ended the day in Goulburn for the Country Championship Qualifier and Luke Murrell tipped Al Mah Haha the place for 1 unit @ $7.5 and it won and paid $33 best tote. It was no better than 4 wide the trip but cruised up to them in the straight and fought hard to hold off Bocelli giving Tash Burleigh a sensational day with 2 horses now heading to Sydney for the finial.

Saturday outlay: 38 units, Return: 57.3 units

Sunday:

On Sunday we started at Armidale backing Gypsy Queen for 4 units the win @ $2.5 and $2.3 BF SP and the Milligan trained 3 year old filly didn’t let us down, sitting back in the pack and circling late to get the prize right on the line.

The cream rises to the top in Championship Qualifiers and the same can be said for Luke Murrell’s tipping, we backed Soul Secrets 1 unit each way and the Cameron Crockett trained 4 year old mare took the lead mid way down the straight and they couldn’t catch her, paying a delicious $23/$5 fixed and $17.5/$4.2 tote.

Sunday outlay: 12.5 units, Return: 33 units

Weekend profit: +39.8 units

Years profit: +91.63 units
